Babysitter Wanted movie made me do it.

Well, damn. That's what I caught myself saying midway through Babysitter Wanted, as the film turned out to be nothing like what I had expected....

"Grab a bucket of popcorn, some beer and get ready for one of the best films you'll see all year."

After having sat through dozens of movies that ranged from abysmal to somewhat watchable, it was nice to see a movie that actually stood out. Babysitter Wanted is not some "When A Stranger Calls" rip-off, on the contrary, it's severely better than "Stranger" in every possible way. In fact, this is the best on-screen interpretation of the urban legend since Halloween. Surprised? So was I. Babysitter Wanted is a non-stop thrill-ride which doesn't hold back on the gore, or the scares, or the surprises. "Babysitter Wanted is without a doubt one of the best films I have seen in the past ten years."

Sometimes after watching a fantastic film you get that sudden rush of enjoyment and sheer excitement that the horror genre is head in the right way again. After watching Babysitter Wanted I had that feeling and I knew that the horror genre is still capable of pumping out fantastic films on a budget. This is one of those films that I am very proud to be able to review and let everyone know that this is a film that you have to keep your eye on. It is without a doubt one of the best films I have seen in the past ten years. So may this review serve as an open letter to all the horror fans, distributors and fellow horror critics hunt this movie down and watch it. You won't regret it. Read Full Review

Moreso if youíre a devout Christian girl who thinks Jesus is the beeís knees and everyone should be nice to one another. Yeah, thatís a good way to get eaten alive in college. Luckily for Angie, the lead in Babysitter Wanted, she moves away from her mother (also a devout Christian) to go to a community college, one that apparently has dorms on campus! First Iíve heard of it, but then I donít get out much. That bit of logical misstep has nothing to do with the overall plot of Babysitter Wanted, I just wanted to point it out. Read Full Review

"The production value was astounding; the film looked and felt like a high budget indie film."

Jonas Barnes and Michael Manasseri have teamed together to try and do what HALLOWEEN did to babysitting nearly three decades ago, only BABYSITTER WANTED takes a much different path. With the rash of other babysitter movies hitting the big screen over the past few years (BLACK CHRISTMAS, WHEN A STRANGER CALLS), this is probably the best. This film takes place in a small college town where a girl gets a babysitting job on a rural farm and is terrorized throughout the night. Read Full Review
